Pitchers:
Angels:
Joe Saunders (0-0) 2.57 ERA
Yankees:
Andy Pettitte (0-0) 4.26 ERA
Time:
5:00 PT on FOX
Well, it can either end or continue for the Angels tonight. If we shut down either A-Rod or Jeter tonight, the Angels win. In Game 2, the duo didnt really do much against him... lets hope it continues in Game 6. Go Halos!
..oh and BTW:
DON'T USE FUENTES TONIGHT! |

| That was a rough 4th inning- I think Sciosh should've taken Saunders out sooner. Well down 3-1 but it's still early- go Halos! |

| Well- the guys couldn't come back- we got close but the error there in the 8th really hurt. But all in all it was a great season after a really slow start. Now there are a ton of questions to be addressed in the offseason and I'm sure the organization will be after some big names in free agency. It's going to be an interesting offseason for sure. |

| Oh well, it was a good year for the Angels. We broke the losing streak with Boston in great fashion and fairly contested the Yankees of winning the pennant. |

Gotta give our guys credit. They really did fight very hard. We got good players, but not as talented as the Yankees since they got superstars not just good players.
I hope Reagins and Moreno are taking notes. To win a WS, you gotta spend money. The Yanks eyed a WS return, and helped their chances by bringing in Sabathia, Burnett, and Tex in the offseason. Our guys are too young and too unexperienced and cant hang with the vets and studs the Yanks have. They're players look great from the top to the bottom of the lineup, their bullpen with Hughes and Rivera is phenomenal, and their pitching staff looks awesome as well. Yanks played great.. They deserved it.
Now its up to Moreno and Reagins to sit down, discuss, and bring in a couple of consistent powered bats. The Angels will be back |
