Angels reserve catcher Jeff Mathis hit a walk-off double to deep left center that allowed Howie Kendrick to score the winning run in Game 3.

Los Angeles defeated New York 5-4 in eleven innings.

"Obviously, it's the biggest hit of my life," Mathis, a .211 hitter during the regular season, said. "For Howie to have the at-bat he did right there, and to get on base and put one in the gap to win the game, it's a pretty good feeling."

The Yankees lead the series 2-1 heading into Tuesday night's Game 4.
