Pitchers:
Angels:
John Lackey (0-1) 3.18 ERA
Yankees:
A.J. Burnett (0-0) 2.84 ERA
Time:
4:30 PT on FOX
Well, its do or die for the Angels tonight. We got Lackey on the hill and he's arguably the best pitcher we got and has the most postseason apperances. Hopefully that translates to a win for us... |

| I could definitely see Lackey throwing a gem, and sending this series back to New York. However, after the Phillies finished their series last night, I think the Yanks will want to send a message. I think the Yankees win a one-run game with Rivera getting the save. |

Tex is just choking at this point. His defense is always gonna be first-class, but he's really only had one great offensive game this entire postseason. Gotta cut A-Rod some slack because he's basically been winning us games single-handedly. And gotta give Lackey credit too, good sequence of pitches to Matsui.
....and Burnett walks Figgins to start. |

| Fuentes throws a terrible pitch and hits Cano....if this was anybody other than Swisher, I feel like we'd be able to get a hit off of Fuentes who is clearly rattled.... |

Swisher sucks. Plain and simple.
Anyway, gutsy win from the Angels. I know that the bullpen (Hughes and Joba) weren't that good, but I don't know why Girardi would've brought AJ back out after the 6 run inning.
We have to win Game 6....I really want CC to be able to battle Lee in Game 1 of the World Series...although Saunders really looked good in Game 2.
Devastating loss to say the least...but credit to the Angels. Huge hits from the top of their lineup....and Mathis is just tearing the cover off of the ball. |

Yes! We live to see another game! Hopefully we get another win there as well.
This team never gives up. The way our guys stood up to the Yankees stars, was very admirable and they showed a lot of heart. Keep it up Halos... |

Well, Game 6 has been postponed. Sucks
On the bright side, if we do take it to Game 7, Lackey can pitch! |
